PT PAL Collaborates with ITS and Unhas to Advance Ship Research and Technology

PT PAL Indonesia is reinforcing its commitment to advancing the national shipbuilding industry through strategic collaborations with research institutions and universities. The company is leveraging research from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) and Hasanuddin University (Unhas) to improve ship design and production technology, thereby increasing national ship production capacity. PT PAL is also focused on developing local human resources, encouraging local talent to contribute to the growth of the domestic shipbuilding sector. Beyond fulfilling domestic demand, the company produces vessels for export markets, including the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates. Consequently, PT PAL continues to consolidate the domestic shipbuilding industry to drive national production.
