PT Len Industri Announces Changes to Board of Directors and Commissioners

PT Len Industri (Persero), the defence industry holding company DEFEND ID, has announced changes to its board of directors and commissioners at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

‘PT Len Industri (Persero) will continue to strengthen technological innovation, improve corporate governance quality, and expand strategic collaborations to support national defence industry independence,’ said President Director Joga Dharma Setiawan in a statement issued on Thursday.

The reshuffle is a shareholder prerogative to ensure the company remains adaptable to industry dynamics, business challenges, and the need for enhanced oversight and corporate management.

Shareholders expressed hope that the new board and commissioners would continue strategic programmes, strengthen synergy within DEFEND ID, improve business performance, and support the development of a self-reliant and globally competitive national defence industry.

The Board of Commissioners praised Irwan Ibrahim, former Business and Collaboration Director, and Arkamelvi Karmani, former Independent Commissioner, for their contributions and dedication during their tenure, which was deemed crucial to the company’s progress.

Joga stated that the new leadership would further strengthen the company’s commitment to continuing the transformation relay, with a focus on technological innovation, operational efficiency, and strategic collaborations with stakeholders.
