PT Kemenangan Secures MURI Record for World's Largest Polyethylene Boat
PT Kemenangan has once again made its mark on the national maritime manufacturing industry by receiving an award from the Museum Rekor Dunia Indonesia (MURI) for its success in producing the Keman Boat 10, the world’s largest polyethylene boat.
The award was officially presented by MURI Deputy Director Osmar Semesta Susilo, M.I.B., accompanied by MURI Operations Director Awan Rahargo, at a ceremony attended by various stakeholders from the maritime, industrial and ship classification sectors.
Also present at the event were Deputy Director of Business Classification Nusantara at PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI), Arief Nurtjahjo; Head of BTKP, Capt. Indang Noerkajati; a representative of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Sungkono; Chairman of PIKKI, Ekki Komaruddin; Djatmiko of CMSI, Nino Krisnan; a representative of ASPINDO; as well as business partners, customers and other invited guests.
In his remarks, PT Kemenangan Operations Director Imanuel Masman said the award was the result of the company’s commitment to delivering innovation for Indonesia’s maritime industry.
“This award is not merely a record, but a recognition of the dedication, innovation and hard work of the entire PT Kemenangan team. We hope this achievement will serve as motivation to continue producing quality products capable of competing at both national and international levels,” Imanuel said in a written statement on Thursday (23/7/2026).
More than 70 Years of Contribution
Founded in 1954, PT Kemenangan has grown into one of the country’s leading manufacturing companies, producing a variety of equipment supporting the maritime and infrastructure sectors. Its product range includes rubber fenders, bollards, steel and polyethylene beacon buoys, mooring buoys, rubber hoses, PVC hoses, and the Keman Boat, a polyethylene boat that stands as one of the company’s flagship innovations.

Keman Boat 10: Tough, Low-Maintenance and Environmentally Friendly
The Keman Boat 10 is a polyethylene boat designed to be highly resistant to impact, rust-free, leak-proof and requiring very minimal maintenance. The polyethylene material is also recyclable, making it more environmentally friendly than conventional materials.
The boat can be used for a variety of purposes, from transportation on rivers, lakes and swamps to open sea waters. In addition to being operated with oars, the Keman Boat can also be fitted with an outboard engine according to operational needs.
According to PT Kemenangan, the innovation is part of the company’s efforts to provide safer, more durable and more efficient water transport solutions suited to Indonesia’s geography as an archipelagic nation.

The Keman Boat is also available in a 9-metre version suitable for Indonesian fishermen, and can be used for tourism, fishing, resorts, dive transfers, patrols, rescue operations and other purposes.
