Jakarta (ANTARA) — To mark Eid al-Adha 1447 H, PT Karya Citra Nusantara has distributed sacrificial animals to the community, institutions, and local communities in Cilincing and Marunda, North Jakarta.

This year, KCN distributed 33 Qurban animals, comprising seven cattle and 26 goats. The distribution is a form of corporate social responsibility and an effort to strengthen harmonious relations with the community and stakeholders in the company’s operational areas.

Cattle donations were given to Cilincing District Office, Marunda Class II Port Authority Office, and the Kalibaru Fishermen Association in Cilincing and Marunda. Goat donations were distributed to several parties, including Kalibaru Police Station, Cilincing Police Station, Marunda Police Station, Pasmar 1 Headquarters, several neighbourhood associations in Marunda and Cilincing, LMK Cilincing, Al-Alam Mosque in Cilincing, Jakarta Maritime College, Marunda Village Office, Cilincing Village Office, Tanjung Priok Port Police District, and the Indonesian People’s Fishermen Community.

KCN Finance Director Rooseno stated that Eid al-Adha serves as a reminder of the importance of sharing, compassion, and social solidarity within the community.

“Through the distribution of Qurban animals, we aim to share the joy of Eid al-Adha and strengthen positive relations between the company and the community, fishermen, authorities, and all stakeholders in KCN’s operational areas,” said Rooseno.

KCN Public Relations Officer Bella Mardiana added that KCN is committed to delivering tangible contributions that can be directly felt by the community.

“For KCN, the company’s presence must provide sustainable social benefits. We hope this Qurban assistance brings blessings and strengthens the values of togetherness and mutual cooperation in Cilincing and Marunda,” added Bella.

The Qurban distribution programme is part of KCN’s consistent annual commitment to corporate social responsibility. The activity also demonstrates the company’s concern for strengthening social ties with coastal communities, government officials, security institutions, and various community elements in North Jakarta.
