PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (Perseroda) distributed 34 sacrificial cows to residents across several areas of Jakarta during the Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah period.

The distribution formed part of the company’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) programme to strengthen social awareness and the spirit of sharing within the community.

Dharma Satriadi, PT JIEP’s Managing Director, stated: “This initiative is part of the company’s commitment to implementing its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) programme to enhance social concern for the public,” in Jakarta on Thursday.

As a Jakarta Regional Government-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) and member of the Danareksa State-Owned Enterprise Holding, Satriadi highlighted that the social activity represents a tangible contribution to supporting community welfare, particularly in Jakarta.

The distribution process was carried out in collaboration with various stakeholders, including Jayakarta Mosque and Baitul Hamd Mosque in Pulogadung Industrial Area, Jatinegara and Rawaterate Villages in Cakung Subdistrict, East Jakarta City Government, Jakarta Provincial Government via the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS), and Danareksa State-Owned Enterprise Holding.

This collaboration ensured the aid reached the intended beneficiaries and provided direct benefits to those in need during this year’s Eid al-Adha.

Satriadi added that the company is committed to supporting the Jakarta Provincial Government’s directives in delivering social benefits accessible to the wider public.

“Through this Eid al-Adha occasion, we hope the distribution of sacrificial cows not only reflects the company’s social concern but also brings happiness and a spirit of sharing to Jakarta residents,” he said.

He noted that the initiative also strengthens ties with communities around the industrial area and reinforces the values of mutual assistance and social solidarity.

As an industrial area developer and manager, PT JIEP continues to apply sustainability principles, not only through productive and modern industrial development but also via social programmes that positively impact the community.

Satriadi expressed his hope that the distribution of dozens of sacrificial cows would help residents celebrate Eid al-Adha joyfully and strengthen the spirit of sharing in urban social life.

“We hope the company’s social contributions continue to benefit communities across Jakarta and contribute to building harmonious relationships between the business world and the surrounding environment,” he added.
