PT JIEP Celebrates Ramadan with Blessings, Implements Various Social Programmes for Communities

PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP), a state-owned regional enterprise (BUMD) under the provincial government of DKI Jakarta and member of the BUMN Holding Danareksa, is celebrating Ramadan 1447 H by implementing various Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programmes for communities surrounding the Pulogadung Industrial Estate.

The TJSL initiatives focus on meeting communities’ food security needs. These include distribution of 200 free food parcels for children with disabilities and organisation of subsidised food markets offering 300 food parcels for PPSU officers, PKK members, and residents of Jatinegara and Rawaterate Villages in Cakung District, East Jakarta.

In collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, PT JIEP is also distributing 1,000 iftar meal packages through Istiqlal Mosque throughout Ramadan. Additionally, at Jayakarta Mosque, the company is organising iftar distribution programmes for worshippers.

To strengthen community bonds, PT JIEP has organised joint iftar meals and provisions for orphaned children. These activities serve as opportunities to reinforce relationships between the company and communities whilst creating a warm atmosphere of togetherness during Ramadan.

Through these various activities, PT JIEP aims to strengthen harmonious relations with communities and deliver tangible benefits to surrounding areas, in keeping with the Ramadan spirit of compassion and unity.
