PT IPC TPK partners with LAZISKU to channel employees' zakat
We hope this collaboration can strengthen synergy in empowering the community and provide broader benefits to the mustahik, said Yanuar Eviyanto, IPC TPK’s Director of Finance, Human Resources, and Risk Management, in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday. The handover of zakat was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Yanuar Eviyanto and LAZISKU Executive Director As’ad Nugroho. This distribution is part of the social dakwah responsibility of PPDI IPC TPK to ensure zakat funds are disbursed in a trustworthy, professional, and targeted manner. Agus Fazri, Chairman of PPDI IPC TPK, added that this collaboration is an initial step that will be sustainable. “This is not the last, but the first, and God willing it will continue,” he said. In addition to distributing funds, PPDI IPC TPK also urged LAZISKU to collaborate in building zakat literacy for members, from routine studies to amil training for PPDI administrators. LAZISKU Executive Director As’ad Nugroho welcomed the trust. He stressed that zakat will be managed with transparency, accountability, and responsibility in accordance with the asnaf provisions. “This is a trust that must be channelled according to zakat asnaf. God willing, we will distribute it soon in this Ramadan,” said As’ad. He hopes this assistance can ease the burden on communities around PT IPC TPK’s operating area.
