The East Java II Regional Customs Office has officially issued a bonded zone facility permit to PT Dwi Prima Sentosa IV, located in Madiun Regency, East Java (12/3/2026).
This provision of the facility is part of the government’s efforts to encourage the growth of export-oriented industries while enhancing national competitiveness.
Head of the East Java II Regional Customs Office, Muhamad Lukman, stated that the issuance of this permit represents their commitment to providing ease of doing business for industry players.
“We present this facility to support a conducive investment climate, while ensuring that services and supervision are balanced in line with our role as a trade facilitator and industrial assistance,” he said in a statement on Thursday (26/3/2026).
PT Dwi Prima Sentosa IV operates in the shoe production sector and has collaborated with several global brands such as Yonex, Lacoste, and Under Armour.
To date, the company has absorbed around 1,700 local workers, thus its presence also has a positive impact on the regional economy.
Lukman added that the permit issuance process has undergone comprehensive monitoring and evaluation stages by Customs. He emphasised that the company is expected to utilise this facility optimally while still complying with applicable provisions.
“We hope this facility can be maximised to support industrial activities and increase export contributions, while upholding compliance with regulations,” he said.
Before the permit was issued, PT Dwi Prima Sentosa IV also went through a presentation stage. This activity aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the company’s business processes and the potential economic impacts generated as material for consideration in decision-making.
Furthermore, with the issuance of this permit, all of the company’s operational lines are now within an integrated bonded zone ecosystem. This is expected to enhance production efficiency and strengthen the company’s position in the global supply chain.
