PT DSI Officially Established: How Will It Contribute to State Revenue?

PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI) has been officially established to oversee domestic commodity exports. Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated during a press conference on Sunday, 31 May 2026, that the government will monitor the company’s impact on state revenue, with quarterly evaluations starting 1 June 2026. ‘The figures have been calculated but not yet determined. It will be monitored with quarterly evaluations,’ he said. Full implementation is set for 1 January 2027.

Economic Coordination Minister Airlangga Hartarto explained that the evaluations will also monitor export taxes and customs duties. PT DSI aims to reduce illegal transactions, under-valuation, and under-pricing in exports. Airlangga added, ‘Illegal exports will be regulated, and PT DSI will help reduce such transactions.’
