PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia Officially Established as Export SOE with 1% State Stake
Jakarta, KOMPAS.com - Dony Oskaria, head of the State-Owned Enterprise Supervisory Agency (BP BUMN), announced that PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI) has officially been established as a dedicated export state-owned enterprise (SOE). Dony stated that the signing ceremony for DSI as an SOE took place earlier this morning. “Today it has officially become an SOE, as the process requires a 1% state-owned stake with special authority. It’s done – we signed this morning,” Dony said at the DPR Building in Senayan, Jakarta, on Monday, 25 May 2026. However, regarding the export mechanisms to be implemented by DSI, Dony said everything is still in process. He also did not elaborate much on the foreign national appointed as DSI’s Managing Director. Previously, PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia was formed by the government to curb mispricing of Indonesia’s natural resource exports. Mispricing refers to when market prices for assets or commodities deviate from their intrinsic or fundamental value. The government aims to minimise mispricing to ensure state revenue aligns with actual export values.
