JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The issuer in the industrial and trading sector for palm oil derivative products, PT Citra Borneo Utama Tbk (CBUT), recorded a profit for the period of Rp 45.97 billion in the first quarter of 2026. This figure represents an increase of 11.5% compared to the achievement in the first quarter of 2025, which stood at Rp 41.21 billion. The growth in net profit also contributed to the rise in Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) to Rp 14.71 per share from Rp 13.19 per share in the same period last year. This profit increase was driven by the company’s success in reducing the cost of goods sold, which fell to Rp 2.81 trillion from Rp 2.90 trillion in 2025. The company recorded total revenue from customer contracts amounting to Rp 3.37 trillion. This value experienced a slight decline of 0.5% compared to the revenue realisation in the first quarter of 2025, which reached Rp 3.39 trillion. The company’s revenue was dominated by sales to related parties, which hold a significant portion in the operational structure. Specifically, the breakdown of net purchases from related parties includes transactions with PT Sawit Mandiri Lestari worth Rp 565.21 billion or 22% of the total, and PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk Rp 349.56 billion or 13% of the total. As of 31 March 2026, the company’s financial position shows a relatively stable structure. Total assets were recorded at Rp 4.03 trillion, slightly down from the position at the end of December 2025, which was Rp 4.11 trillion. The company also strengthened its cash position to Rp 342.31 billion, up from Rp 284.83 billion at the end of 2025. Total liabilities decreased to Rp 2.87 trillion compared to Rp 3.00 trillion at the end of December 2025. Short-term liabilities dominated with a value of Rp 2.17 trillion, where short-term bank loans were recorded at Rp 1.35 trillion. Total equity grew to Rp 1.16 trillion compared to the position at the end of 2025, which was Rp 1.11 trillion.
