Psychological Services Now Reach Schools and MSMEs

The demand for psychological services and human resource development is no longer confined to corporate environments, but is increasingly emerging within schools and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). A psychological approach can be utilised to help students recognise their potential, support employee development, and assist MSMEs in organising human resource management more structurally.

This growing demand has prompted BIPI Consulting to expand its services for individuals, educational institutions, corporations, and MSMEs. Operating since 2018, the company provides Psychological Assessment, Training & Workshop, HR Consulting, and Coaching services.

CEO of BIPI Consulting, Arnita Kusumaningrum, stated that the need for psychological and HR development services is now coming from more diverse groups. Each group possesses different requirements for identifying and developing individual potential.

“It is not only companies that require support to recognise and develop individual potential, but also schools, students, and MSME entrepreneurs. Therefore, we continue to develop our services to ensure they meet the needs of each segment in a more relevant, professional, and accessible manner,” Arnita said in a statement on Thursday (1/10/2026).

In the education sector, psychological services can assist students in identifying their potential, interests, and individual abilities. BIPI Consulting has developed ‘Future By BIPI’ to provide these services specifically for schools and students.

Within the corporate environment, psychological assessments are used to support recruitment processes, mapping potential and competence, and employee development. Organisational needs also encompass training, coaching, and HR management consultancy.

The use of technology is also integrated into the assessment process through online testing platforms based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and monitoring features. However, Arnita believes that technology serves as a support mechanism, while understanding the individual remains the foundation of human resource development.

“Technology can help the assessment process become more efficient and monitored, but ultimately, understanding the individual remains the core of HR development. We view technology as a supporting tool to strengthen the process, not to replace the role of professionals,” Arnita remarked.

Human resource management needs also arise as MSMEs grow and begin to require more structured division of work functions. Through ‘BIPI HR-MU’, BIPI Consulting provides recruitment and HR administration services for this segment.

These services include the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), job descriptions, salary structures, employment contracts, and other administrative requirements. This model allows MSME owners to utilise HR management services without needing to establish an internal HR function first.

“With this model, MSMEs can obtain HR management support without having to immediately form an internal HR function or recruit specific employees for that purpose,” said Arnita.

The expansion of psychological services from schools to MSMEs demonstrates the growing need for managing individual potential and human resources across various organisational scales. While the use of technology can increase process efficiency, professional assessment remains essential to consider the unique characteristics and needs of every individual and organisation.
