PSSI responds to John Herdman's European haul: wait for the right moment

Indonesia national team coach John Herdman is reportedly delivering fresh updates after conducting a working visit to Europe to monitor players of Indonesian descent. From the monitoring, two diaspora players have entered PSSI’s radar for naturalisation in order to strengthen the Garuda squad in the future. The move to strengthen the Indonesia national team through naturalisation is a direct recommendation from John Herdman after seeing significant potential in Europe. The English-born tactician has reported his findings to the federation as part of a strategic plan to raise the team’s quality at the international level. Although news of these two new players has already circulated, PSSI Exco member Arya Sinulingga advised supporters not to rush. “Yes, we will just wait. The timing is tight now. I haven’t seen the schedule of the DPR to open its parliamentary session yet. Usually the DPR has an opening and closing session, so we will adjust according to the situation,” Arya Sinulingga told reporters.
