PSM Makassar and Indonesia National Team Player Reported for Allegedly Assaulting Girlfriend
Ricky Pratama, a player for PSM Makassar who has previously represented Indonesia’s youth national team, has come under public scrutiny after being reported for alleged assault.
The report was filed by a woman with the initials AD at the South Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda Sulsel) on Sunday, 15 February 2026, after the case gained widespread attention on social media.
Public interest intensified after the alleged victim disclosed the incident through her personal social media account. A formal report was subsequently lodged at the Integrated Police Service Centre (SPKT) of Polda Sulsel under report number LP/B/190/II/2026/SPKT/POLDA SULAWESI SELATAN, dated 15 February 2026.
In her report, AD stated that the alleged assault occurred on 6 February 2025 at a house on Jalan Anuang, Maricaya Village, Mamajang District, Makassar. The victim, originally from Magelang, was known to reside in rented accommodation near the PSM Makassar players’ dormitory.
The incident allegedly took place while the PSM squad was preparing for an away fixture in Yogyakarta. After disclosing the incident on social media, the victim visited the police station accompanied by her legal counsel to file a formal report.
The report cites a suspected violation of Article 466(1) of Law No. 1/2023 concerning the criminal offence of assault under Indonesia’s new Criminal Code (KUHP). The case file has been forwarded to the General Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimum) of Polda Sulsel for further investigation. However, progress on the case has reportedly been delayed as it coincided with a national collective leave period.

Ricky Pratama was born on 6 May 2003 and plays as a striker. He joined PSM Makassar for the 2022 Liga 1 season and made his league debut on 10 September 2022 against Persebaya Surabaya at Gelora B.J. Habibie Stadium in Parepare.
Since his debut, he has been part of the Juku Eja squad across various domestic and continental competitions. As of February 2026, his career statistics show a total of 85 appearances with one goal, spanning Liga 1, the Super League, the AFC Cup, and the ASEAN Club Championship.
At international level, Ricky made his debut with the Indonesia U-20 national team on 2 June 2022 at the Maurice Revello Tournament in France against Ghana U-20. He also participated in training camps in Turkey and Spain in October 2022.
