PSM beats PSIS 2-1 in Ligina

MAKASSAR, South Sulawesi: PSM Makassar extended its winning
streak to three in the Indonesian soccer league (Ligina) after it
beat PSIS Semarang 2-1 at the Mattoangin Stadium here on Sunday.

Chilean Ariel Guterrez and Miro Baldo Bento scored for the
hosts in the 24th and 82nd minutes respectively. The only goal
for the visiting team was contributed by Nigerian Friday G.
Beneme in injury time.

It was the third victory on the trot for the 2001 finalist.
The two previous wins came at the expense of Persipura of Papua
3-2 and PSS Sleman of Yogyakarta 2-0. --JP
