PSIS takes 2-1 win over Persik

SEMARANG, East Java: Abdoulaye Djibril earned PSIS Semarang on
Sunday a 2-1 win over Persik Kediri in the 86th minute of their
Indonesian league match at Jatidiri Stadium here.

Liberian Roberto Kwateh led the home team in the 51st minute
before Johan Prasetyo equalized 15 minutes later.

In front of 12,000 fans, PSIS players mounted an attack and
created many chances at goal, one of which they turned into a
decisive point.

"We piled on the pressure and made many chances. But the
players didn't take their time in the goal box and missed them,"
PSSI coach Herry Kiswanto said. -- JP
