PSI Treasurer Fenty Noverita to Run for House Seat in West Java VI

Fenty Noverita, Treasurer General of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), has officially entered the race as a legislative candidate for the House of Representatives (DPR RI) from the West Java VI electoral district, which encompasses the cities of Bekasi and Depok.

The decision was taken as a form of commitment by Fenty to be closer in accompanying and advocating for the aspirations of the people in both regions at the national level.

“Bekasi and Depok are areas with highly diverse community dynamics, ranging from workers, MSME actors, to the younger generation. I want to be present and listen directly to what their needs are, and then fight for them in the DPR RI,” said Fenty in a written statement on Sunday, 9 August 2026.

Fenty stated that she has been actively engaging directly with the community through various social activities and gatherings, as part of efforts to build closeness with residents in the West Java VI electoral district.

She also affirmed that her candidacy is part of PSI’s spirit to present clean, young, and high-integrity people’s representatives.

As a woman born in West Java, Fenty admitted to having a special emotional connection with the region.

“I am a child of West Java. This is not merely an electoral district for me, but a beloved birthplace. Therefore, this struggle feels very personal, and I will devote myself fully to the people here,” she said.

At the end of her statement, Fenty also called on all PSI cadres to unite and work hard to win the party in the West Java VI electoral district.

“I invite all PSI cadres to be solid, work hard, and continue to expand our circle of friends as widely as possible within the community. This victory can only be achieved if we move together,” she asserted.

“This is not merely about running as a legislative candidate, but about the responsibility to bring real and beneficial change for the people of Bekasi and Depok,” she concluded.
