PSI Says Didit's Visit to Solo Proves Special Prabowo-Jokowi Friendship

The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) has welcomed the visit by President Prabowo Subianto’s son, Ragowo Hediprasetyo, known as Didit Prabowo, to former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in Solo, viewing it as proof of the strong bond between the two leaders.

PSI Chairman Bestari Barus said the meeting, which took place on Thursday (18 June 2026), demonstrated the close friendship between Prabowo and Jokowi. “It turns out he was in Solo for the Muharram observance. I commend him; he is still a young man but has high manners,” Bestari said.

He added that Didit’s visit dispelled any notions of a rift between the two figures. “This is proof. I am also convinced that whatever was discussed at the dining table can be conveyed to Pak Prabowo,” Bestari stated, though he admitted he was not privy to the specifics of their conversation.

Didit arrived at Jokowi’s residence at 11:02 WIB, wearing a white shirt and dark blue trousers, and was seen carrying several books. After greeting journalists briefly, he proceeded inside for a closed-door meeting with the former president.
