PSI Reveals Jokowi to Visit Lampung, NTT, and West Java Soon

‘He has confirmed visits to Lampung, NTT, and West Java soon,’ said PSI DPP Chairman Bestari Barus to reporters on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, responding to questions about regions Jokowi would visit soon. Bestari stated that Jokowi is touring Indonesia to fulfil public invitations. Additionally, the visits aim to meet PSI officials in the regions. ‘The purpose is to fulfil public invitations. Insha’Allah, he will also visit PSI structures in the areas. He mentioned volunteers as well,’ he said. Jokowi to Tour Indonesia Previously, the 7th President of Indonesia, Jokowi, is set to tour several regions in the near future. Jokowi said his trips are to fulfil invitations from local communities. ‘Yes, I have many invitations from regions to attend by the public. I am well and will visit the existing invitations,’ Jokowi said at his residence in Sumber, Banjarsari, reported by detikJateng on Monday, 25 May 2026. Jokowi explained that besides fostering goodwill, he would motivate the public. ‘And that is also to provide motivation,’ he clarified. When asked whether the regional tour was preparation for the 2029 presidential election to support his son Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Jokowi did not elaborate, reiterating that the agenda was purely due to public invitations. ‘There are invitations from regions,’ Jokowi stated briefly. The former Jakarta Governor and Solo Mayor confirmed his health has improved, allowing him to resume full activities. ‘Yes, it’s done. Fulfilling regional invitations means it’s done. Yes, ready.
