PSI Claims Several NasDem Cadres Will Soon Join, Who Are They?

Jakarta - The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) has stated that several cadres from the NasDem Party will join in the near future. However, the official announcement is still awaiting the appropriate time. PSI spokesperson I Putu Yoga Saputra said his party has already communicated with several cadres from the NasDem Party. “Yes, there are some (from NasDem). Let it be a surprise later,” Yoga said at the PSI DPP Building on Thursday (16/4/2026). “As conveyed by Ms Grace, there will be many figures joining PSI. But of course, all that requires process and time,” he added. According to Yoga, in political dynamics, announcements of cadre transfers usually consider the right momentum. “In politics, we wait for a good moment to announce,” he said. “Just wait,” he added. Yoga also mentioned that the figures joining are not only from the national level but also from the regions. “If talking about figures, they could be local or national figures. We’ve already netted many local figures. National figures will also be announced gradually,” he said. “In the future, after we hold the Rakorwil, there will also be Rakorda at the district level. There might be certain moments when we announce during those Rakorda for local figures,” he explained. Meanwhile, for national-level figures, PSI is preparing a special momentum. “But for national figures, we might create a special session to announce them later,” Yoga said.
