PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep and South Sumatra Governor Herman Deru watched the FIFA Matchday fixture between the Indonesian national team and Oman at The Sultan Convention Center in Palembang on Friday (5/6). In a relaxed atmosphere, Kaesang and Herman Deru were seen enjoying a meal at the dining table while following the match. Several figures joined them, including PSI South Sumatra Chairman Heri Amalindo, senior PSI politician Rusdi Masse, and PSI General Treasurer Fenty Noverita. Before the match kicked off, Kaesang shared his prediction for the Indonesia versus Oman clash, forecasting a slender victory for the national side. ‘I predict Indonesia will win 1-0,’ Kaesang said. However, the final result at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium surpassed his prediction, as the Indonesian national team delivered a dominant performance to close the match with a convincing 3-0 win over Oman. Kaesang, dressed in a white shirt, sat side by side with Herman Deru and other senior PSI figures as they enjoyed the game. Kaesang had arrived in Palembang to attend the PSI Regional Coordination Meeting and the inauguration of PSI regional chairmen in South Sumatra. The visit formed part of the party’s consolidation agenda ahead of various organisational and political activities in the region. The meeting between Kaesang and Herman Deru unfolded in a warm, cordial atmosphere, doubling as a moment of togetherness in supporting the Indonesian national team’s campaign during the FIFA Matchday fixture.
