PSBM XXVI KKSS 2026 Set to Take Place, Featuring National Figures and Strategic Investment Forum

The 26th Meeting of Bugis Makassar Entrepreneurs (PSBM) XXVI in 2026, initiated by the South Sulawesi Family Harmony (KKSS), is scheduled to take place on 25–26 March 2026 in Makassar City, South Sulawesi.

The event will be centred at Hotel Claro Makassar and will feature a series of strategic agendas, ranging from strengthening ties, religious reflections, to business and investment forums involving national figures and entrepreneurs from various regions.

Commencing with a Welcome Dinner at the Governor’s Residence

The series of activities will begin on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, with participant registration and arrivals at Hotel Claro Makassar.

That evening, the South Sulawesi Provincial Government will host a welcome dinner at the South Sulawesi Governor’s Official Residence as an official welcome to the PSBM XXVI participants.

A Lively Opening Rich in Cultural Values

On the second day, Thursday, 26 March 2026, the event will be officially opened in the Phinisi Ballroom of Hotel Claro Makassar. The General Chairman of the KKSS Main Board is scheduled to attend along with his team to open the series of events.

The opening will begin with the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya and the KKSS march, followed by a performance of the traditional Matoanna Sipakalebbi dance by the Angin Mammiri Foundation.

A religious atmosphere will be present through the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by international young reciter Zian Fahrezi, who is recorded as the first-place winner in an international competition in Iran in 2026.

Official remarks will be delivered by the Governor of South Sulawesi, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman. Meanwhile, the atmosphere will be further enlivened by a performance from Iyeth Bustami.

The opening agenda will also include the wisdom of Halal bi Halal delivered by Das’ad Latief, before culminating in the beating of the drum by several national figures, including Jusuf Kalla, Aksa Mahmud, Andi Amran Sulaiman, the Governor of South Sulawesi, the KKSS Main Board Secretary General, the Chairman of KADIN South Sulawesi, and the Committee Chairman.

National Figures & Senior Entrepreneurs

• Jusuf Kalla

A national figure from South Sulawesi, who served as Vice President of Indonesia for two terms (2004–2009 and 2014–2019). Known as an entrepreneur and a central figure in the KKSS network and the development of eastern Indonesia.

• Aksa Mahmud

Founder of the Bosowa Group, one of the major conglomerates in eastern Indonesia. He is also recognised as a key figure in the development of business and education in South Sulawesi.

• Andi Amran Sulaiman

Minister of Agriculture of Indonesia, who also serves as the General Chairman of the KKSS Main Board. Known as a successful entrepreneur in the agribusiness sector before entering government.

“Success Story” Forum Features Governors and Entrepreneurs

In the afternoon session, PSBM XXVI will host a discussion forum themed “Resilient Entrepreneurs, Growing Economy” moderated by national presenter Utrich Farzah.

Several regional heads and national figures are scheduled to be speakers, including:

Andi Sudirman Sulaiman

Governor of South Sulawesi, known for his approach to budget efficiency and infrastructure development based on regional needs.

Andi Sumangerukka

Retired TNI officer now serving as Governor of Southeast Sulawesi. He has a military background and is also known as an entrepreneur.

Zainal A Paliwang

Governor of North Kalimantan with a police background. Focuses on border area development and strengthening the regional economy.

Sherly Tjoanda Laos

A female governor with an entrepreneurial background, known for actively promoting investment and economic development in island regions.

Rudy Mas’ud

Governor of East Kalimantan, a strategic region serving as a support for the Nusantara Capital City (IKN).

Suhardi Duka

Senior politician from West Sulawesi who previously served as regent and now leads the province.

Apolo Safanpo

Academic and bureaucrat now serving as Governor of South Papua, a new autonomous province in Indonesia.

Ria Norsan

Regional head who previously served as deputy governor and regent, known for focusing on border area development.

Yulius Selvanus Komaling

Retired TNI officer now leading North Sulawesi, with a leadership approach based on security and economic development.

Das’ad Latief

National preacher and orator from South Sulawesi, widely known for his inspirational sermons and communicative da’wah approach.

Iyeth Bustami

Famous Indonesian dangdut and Malay singer who has also been active in politics.

Andi Iwan Darmawan Aras

Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) of South Sulawesi, as well as a national politician active in business development.

Nurwayah

A female figure active in politics and entrepreneurship, representing the role of women in the entrepreneur network.

Business Matching: From Investment to Globalising South Sulawesi Coffee

Beyond discussions, the PSBM XXVI agenda will also focus on business matching to open concrete cooperation opportunities.

In the first session, investment opportunities in South Sulawesi will be presented by South Sulawesi Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman along with entrepreneurs such as Hendra Firmansyah (Firman’s Group) and Jusman Sikki (Mario Micron Metalindo).

Meanwhile, the second session will highlight the theme “South Sulawesi Coffee Goes Global” featuring industry players and academics, including Irsan (ASKI Indonesia), Yenny (PT Sulotco/Kapal Api Group), Hariadi (Toraja coffee farmer), Reta (academic), and Sukmawati Syukur (Kopi Digital).

Closing with a Farewell Dinner

As a conclusion, the committee has scheduled a farewell dinner to be held at Hotel Gapura Makassar on Thursday evening.
