Prudential Syariah Pays Claims of Rp 2.2 Trillion to 68,000 Participants in 2025
JAKARTA – PT Prudential Sharia Life Assurance (Prudential Syariah) recorded payments of claims and benefits amounting to Rp 2.2 trillion throughout 2025. This figure is equivalent to Rp 6 billion per day.
“Throughout 2025, Prudential Syariah has paid Rp 2.2 trillion in claims and benefits, or the equivalent of disbursing claims amounting to Rp 6 billion per day, covering nearly 98,000 claim cases and reaching more than 68,000 participants,” said President Director of Prudential Syariah, Iskandar Ezzahuddin Ahmad Zulkiflee, during a press conference on the Full Year Performance 2025 held in South Jakarta on Tuesday (12/5/2026).
Iskandar stated that the Rp 2.2 trillion in claims paid by Prudential Syariah to 68,000 Indonesian families in 2025 demonstrates that the mutual assistance mechanism in Sharia insurance is truly functioning, serving as tangible proof of the contributions, care, and sense of mutual support among participants.
“This is what we call ta’awun, which is the collective contribution among participants that provides real protection when needed,” he said.
This achievement is also considered quite proud, amidst various challenges facing the financial services industry due to geo-economic and geopolitical uncertainties. However, Prudential Syariah has moved resiliently and grown positively.
“Amid all challenges and opportunities, throughout 2025 Prudential Syariah grew strongly and maintained its position as the number one Sharia life insurance company in Indonesia,” he said.
He revealed that Prudential Syariah has also dominated the market with a 22% market share in Annualized Premium Equivalent (APE), recording new business contributions of Rp 1 trillion and total assets of approximately Rp 8 trillion.
Data collected by the Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI) places Prudential Syariah as the market leader in Sharia life insurance in Indonesia.
“This leadership is also reflected in the company’s total contribution income of Rp 4.2 trillion, making Prudential Syariah number one among all joint venture Sharia life insurance companies in Indonesia,” he added.
