Prudential Syariah Hosts Festival of 1000 Blessings, Supports Female Ride-Hailing Driver Community

Throughout Ramadan 1447 Hijriyah, PT Prudential Sharia Life Assurance (Prudential Syariah) together with Yayasan Pesantren Islam Al-Azhar successfully organised the Festival 1000 Berkah in the vicinity of Al-Azhar Grand Mosque in South Jakarta. The activity took place from 19 February to 14 March 2026.

The festival was presented as a collaborative space to support the community in observing Ramadan by aligning spiritual activities, financial literacy, and the spirit of sharing through the ‘Jaga Amanah Ramadan’ (Safeguarding Ramadan’s Trust) programme. Over the 23-day period, the Festival 1000 Berkah attracted approximately 30,000 visitors from various areas across Greater Jakarta.

Throughout the series of activities, visitors were able to participate in various programmes ranging from Islamic financial literacy, health education, business opportunity consultation, to financial planning based on Sharia principles. These programmes were complemented by strengthened religious observance and Islamic lectures.

Sustainability Corner: Converting Plastic Waste into Donations

Throughout the Festival 1000 Berkah, Prudential Syariah reinforced its commitment to social responsibility and environmental stewardship through a sustainability corner—a facility for collecting plastic packaging that invited visitors to directly contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the mosque’s grounds.

The collected plastic packaging was subsequently converted into tangible support for others through 1,000 meals for breaking fast, food parcels, and sets of prayer equipment distributed to the community of female ride-hailing drivers (Lady Ojol) and underprivileged members of society.
