PT Prudential Life Assurance (Prudential Indonesia) has reaffirmed its commitment to building a future-ready and adaptive organisation in response to the latest technological developments, including artificial intelligence (AI). Chief Customer & Marketing Officer Prudential Indonesia, Karin Zulkarnaen, explained that this step is also taken to ensure that both current employees and future young talent possess the relevant capabilities to thrive in the AI era. “One of these efforts is the Prudential–INSEAD NextGen Academy, an executive leadership and business capability development programme organised in collaboration with INSEAD Asia Campus Singapore,” Karin said in a statement on Monday, 13 July 2026. Following a rigorous selection process from over a thousand applicants, six top students from various universities in Indonesia were chosen to participate in the programme free of charge for three days from 7 to 9 July 2026. The six participants are Carmen Kiara Indraputra (Universitas Indonesia), Reyhoboth Dillon (Universitas Sampoerna), Masayu Alliyah Khairunnisa (Universitas Indonesia), Ershyanda Khatayusha (Universitas Telkom), Edbert Nathaniel (Universitas Sumatera Utara), and Febrian Valentino Agape (Universitas Udayana). Karin noted that the Prudential–INSEAD NextGen Academy’s learning series combines theory, practice, and simulation to strengthen participants’ readiness to face the evolving world of work. Participants are trained to hone strategic thinking skills, develop solutions based on customer needs, utilise AI to create added value, and formulate innovations through the Blue Ocean Strategy approach. “They also develop communication, negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills through business simulations and immersive virtual reality-based experiences,” Karin added. Beyond business competencies, the programme also encourages participants to reflect on their values, career goals, and the leadership character they wish to build. As the culmination of the programme, participants will present the business solutions they have developed before Prudential’s management and INSEAD faculty, as a tangible implementation of the analytical, collaboration, communication, and decision-making abilities acquired during the programme. At Prudential Indonesia, Karin emphasised that the company believes empowering the younger generation is a long-term investment for Indonesia’s future. This is also in line with the company’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) sustainability commitment, particularly on the social pillar through expanding access to education and young talent development.
