Prudential Indonesia Outlines Factors That Could Affect Investment Performance

PT Prudential Life Assurance (Prudential Indonesia) has outlined several factors that could affect its investment performance in 2026. These factors are both structural and external.

Chief Financial Officer of Prudential Indonesia, Adit Trivedi, said that one of the factors is the uncertainty of the global economic situation, including the slowdown in economic growth in several countries and geopolitical dynamics.

Another factor is the volatility of financial markets, both in the stock market, bonds, and exchange rates, which are influenced by changes in global and domestic sentiment.

“In addition, the direction of interest rate and monetary policy, both from global central banks and Bank Indonesia, can have an impact on the valuation of financial assets,” he told Kontan, Thursday (14/5/2026).

Adit also explained that the level of financial literacy in the community has the potential to have an influence. He said that this could also affect the stability and understanding of long-term investment products.

By continuously monitoring these factors and applying the principle of prudence, Adit said that Prudential Indonesia is optimistic that it can maintain stable investment performance and remain focused on creating long-term value for customers.
