Head of the Post-Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Task Force (Satgas PRR) for Sumatra, Muhammad Tito Karnavian, distributed ambulance vehicles to support healthcare services in five Puskesmas affected by hydrometeorological disasters in Takengon, Central Aceh, Aceh, on Monday night (20/4). Tito stated that the five ambulances provided to Central Aceh Regency originate from Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin and are intended for the five disaster-impacted Puskesmas that were once isolated in Central Aceh. The aid was directly handed over to Central Aceh Regent Haili Yoga. “These five vehicles from the Health Minister (Budi Gunadi Sadikin) will be beneficial for healthcare workers in Central Aceh,” Tito said. Tito emphasised that the recovery of health facilities has been a primary concern for Satgas PRR since its establishment by President Prabowo Subianto. Health facilities serve as the frontline in social recovery for disaster survivors. “Therefore, together with the Health Minister, I am handing over a number of vehicles and supporting health equipment from the Ministry of Health to all disaster-affected areas, including Central Aceh Regency,” Tito added. Central Aceh Regent Haili Yoga stated that the five ambulances provided by Satgas PRR will be immediately used to strengthen the five Puskesmas services that were once isolated and in need of additional mobility transport. The five Puskesmas consist of: Bintang, Kepuyang, Pamar, Ketapang, and Jagung.
