The Satuan Tugas Pemulihan dan Rehabilitasi (Satgas PRR) has once again distributed aid to residents affected by disasters in Aceh Tamiang Regency on Saturday (4/4/2026). This distribution forms part of efforts to accelerate recovery, particularly to meet the basic needs of the community. The Minister of Home Affairs, who also serves as Head of the Central Satgas PRR, Tito Karnavian, conducted a working visit to the region. He arrived by helicopter and landed at Bima Patra Paya Bedi Field around 10:40 WIB. Subsequently, along with the Regional Post Head (Kaposwil) Safrizal ZA, the entourage inspected several operational points while symbolically handing over aid to residents in Lubuk Sidup Village, covering 185 households (KK), and Sekumur Village, covering 276 KK. “Our presence in Aceh Tamiang today is to ensure that the state is present among the people. As Head of the Central Satgas PRR, I want to ensure that emergency aid and worship equipment are distributed, while we build long-term infrastructure like this borehole well,” Tito stated in an official remark on Saturday (4/4/2026). Kaposwil Safrizal ZA explained that the 1,000 kitchen equipment packages distributed are part of the Basic Living Package. This programme aims to enable the community to regain independence in meeting daily food needs. These efforts are part of the government’s steps to accelerate the rehabilitation and reconstruction process in disaster-affected areas, while ensuring that the community’s basic needs are met sustainably.
