The Indonesian Joint Funding Fintech Association (AFPI) and KrediOne are committed to continuously strengthening and improving financial education and literacy, particularly in the online lending industry, in order to protect consumers.

KrediOne Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kuseryansyah said these efforts include media visits and a series of media gatherings involving various national and regional media outlets in Bandung, West Java, on 11 February 2025.

According to him, a close partnership with the media is a crucial element in building a healthy, impactful, and sustainable digital financial ecosystem.

“The media plays a strategic role as an information bridge between the industry and the public. Through constructive collaboration with AFPI and our media colleagues, we hope that the message about the importance of using legal, responsible, and prudent online lending services can be conveyed more broadly and with greater quality,” said Kuseryansyah in his statement.

He acknowledged that this activity is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen the strategic relationship between AFPI, KrediOne, and the media, while reinforcing the dissemination of accurate, balanced, and educational information to the public.

“Particularly regarding online lending services that are legal, responsible, and consumer protection-oriented,” he said.

Through interactive dialogue and open discussions held during the event, KrediOne and AFPI shared the latest developments in the online lending industry—such as strengthened governance and various financial literacy education initiatives that continue to be promoted together with regulators, strategic partners, and communities.

Going forward, KrediOne and AFPI will continue to drive various collaborative programs with the media to strengthen public financial literacy while supporting the growth of online lending that is healthy, inclusive, and positively impactful for the Indonesian economy.

“KrediOne also believes that public trust is built not only through technological innovation but also through humanistic communication that is oriented toward service and consumer protection,” he said.
