Prospective Hajj Pilgrims Begin Entering Dorms for Departure to the Holy Land

Prospective Hajj pilgrims have begun entering embarkation dormitories for their departure to the Holy Land. On Tuesday, 21 April 2026, health quarantine officers checked vaccination documents for the first flight group of prospective Hajj pilgrims from East Lombok District upon their arrival at the Hajj Embarkation Dormitory in Mataram, NTB. A total of 5,798 prospective Hajj pilgrims from NTB, divided into 15 flight groups, are scheduled to depart for Mecca via Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport starting from 22 April to 10 May 2026.

Hajj officers fitted identification bracelets to the first flight group of prospective Hajj pilgrims from East Lombok District upon their arrival at the Hajj Embarkation Dormitory in Mataram, NTB, on Tuesday (21/4/2026). A total of 441 prospective Hajj pilgrims and four Hajj officers from the first flight group of the Kertajati embarkation, originating from Indramayu District, entered the dormitory for transit and rest before being sent to Saudi Arabia via Kertajati Airport.
