The Hajj Organising Committee (PPIH) of Medan Embarkation returned a prospective Hajj pilgrim from Central Java to Solo Embarkation after he received treatment for a health issue.

Head of the Reception and Departure Division of PPIH Medan Embarkation, Murnisyah Nasution, in Medan on Tuesday, stated that the prospective pilgrim had been declared fit to fly by the medical team.

“We have received a fitness-to-fly certificate from RSUD Amri Tambunan Lubuk Pakam, so the individual was flown back yesterday,” said Murnisyah.

Muritno was accompanied by another prospective pilgrim from the same embarkation, Cheriyah (80), a resident of Bojong Village, Bojong Subdistrict, Tegal Regency.

Previously, Muritno had undergone intensive treatment at RSUD Amri Tambunan, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, since Wednesday (22/4) after experiencing a health disturbance.

“After being declared fit to fly, he was immediately flown back to Solo Embarkation on the same day. Alhamdulillah, his condition has improved,” she said.

A total of 360 prospective Hajj pilgrims from Kloter 3 of Solo Embarkation were dispatched to the Holy Land via Adi Soemarmo Airport, Central Java, on Wednesday (22/4) at 15:00 WIB.

“Returning to Solo Embarkation, not directly to Madinah. Using a Garuda aircraft when refuelling at Kualanamu Airport before arriving at Adi Soemarmo Airport,” said Murnisyah.
