Prospace Expands Interior Logistics Market into Hospital and Education Facilities
Jakarta – The modern and ergonomic interior design of hospitals and schools is expanding beyond the commercial office sector. According to industry observations, public service facilities such as educational institutions and hospitals are gradually changing their physical spatial standards.
Silvia He, Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Prospace, explained that this shift is driving increased market demand for interior providers capable of handling medium- and large-scale furniture specifications for healthcare and educational facilities.
“Unlike general offices, healthcare and educational facilities require furniture with high material durability and compliance with physical safety standards,” Silvia said in a statement on Monday, 27 July 2026. “These specific conditions require furniture providers to formulate a different approach in the spatial planning stage.”
Responding to this expansion of the public sector demographic, Prospace has adjusted its production capacity and service segmentation. The office furniture solutions provider, which has been operating since 2025, is extending its design scope from purely corporate clients to supplying operational facilities for modern schools and hospitals.
Silvia explained that handling interiors for public facilities requires a more specific spatial analysis approach. Each public service sector, such as healthcare and education, presents distinctly different operational flow challenges.
“The company’s strategy focuses on in-depth consultancy services to ensure the functionality of the space matches its intended purpose,” Silvia said.
This cross-institutional project execution model is based on four integrated operational services to minimise specification deviations on site. These range from workspace arrangement consultancy, design formulation and furniture selection tailored to material durability and safety standards, to logistics distribution and technical installation execution on site. The entire consultancy process is centred at the showroom facility located on the 11th floor of Kino Tower, Alam Sutera, Tangerang.
Silvia added that the supply scheme for this public sector maintains measurable logistics distribution standards. Regular ready-stock furniture components are scheduled for processing and installation within 48 hours, while custom-designed interior needs tailored to medical or educational architecture are allocated an estimated working time starting from 45 days.
