Prosecutors Raid Belu Regional House of Representatives Office and Legislator's Residence

The Task Force Team from the Belu District Attorney’s Office, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), has raided the Belu Regency DPRD office and the residence of DPRD member Stanislaus Fahik.

The search is part of an investigation into alleged corruption regarding the provision of welfare allowances in the form of household shopping expenses for the leadership of the Belu Regency DPRD for the 2019-2023 period, valued at Rp 3.7 billion.

The raid was led by the Head of the Special Crimes Section, Cornelis S. Oematan, based on the Belu District Attorney’s Order Number: PRINT-554/N.3.13/Fd.1/09/2026, dated 8 September 2026. The operation was also attended by Intelligence Section Head Budi Raharjo, PAPBB Section Head Yerry Anro Foza, Prosecution Sub-section Head Musa Kevin Banjarnahor, functional prosecutors Ari Prawibowo and Bambang Triady Putra, as well as several special crimes and intelligence staff.

The team targeted the General and Finance Division (Program and Finance Sub-section), as well as the Archives, Trials, and Legislation Division. “From the results of the search at the Belu DPRD Secretariat, the team secured 29 documents, one PC unit, and a laptop,” Cornelis stated on Monday (14/9/2026).

The search at the DPRD office concluded at 11:50 WITA. According to Cornelis, following the search at the Belu DPRD Secretariat, a search was also conducted at the residence of DPRD member Stanislaus.

“The second location was the house of DPRD member, Mr Stanislaus Fahik, in Belu Regency. Stanislaus Fahik is known as the provider for the household shopping expenses of the DPRD leadership for the 2019-2024 period, specifically from 2021 to 2024,” Cornelis explained.

He revealed that investigators from the Special Crimes Team have already interrogated dozens of witnesses in the case. “So far, 12 witnesses have been examined. Following this, around 20 more witnesses will be interrogated,” Cornelis concluded.
