Prosecutor's Office Names Sitaro Regent as Suspect in Rp 22.7 Billion Disaster Aid Corruption Case

Chyntia only bowed her head and provided no comment regarding the case ensnaring her. She was then escorted into the prosecutor’s office detention vehicle. “We have named the Sitaro Regent as a suspect,” stated Zein Yusri Munggaran, Assistant for Special Crimes at the North Sulawesi Prosecutor’s Office, at the location. Chyntia will be detained at the Malendeng Detention Centre in Manado City. The detention will last for the next 20 days. It is known that the North Sulawesi Prosecutor’s Office had previously named four suspects in this case. They are the former Acting Regent of Sitaro Joy Oroh, Sitaro Regional Secretary Denny Kondoj, Head of Sitaro BPBD Joy Sagune, and private individual Denny Tondolambung.
