JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence at the Attorney General’s Office (Jamintel Kejagung), Reda Manthovani, stated that intelligence section heads are now monitoring the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme. “There are developments, including a government product, namely the MBG product. We have also created a system where we provide a hotline or link to the beneficiaries, namely school principals, teachers, and students, so they can directly report the MBG product,” Reda said at the Fairmont Hotel in Jakarta on Sunday night (19/4/2026). Complaints received by the prosecutors’ intelligence will be accommodated through the Jaga Desa application. “They will make reports, including if the meals are indeed tasty, that should also be reported, so the reporting is linked to the Attorney General’s Office,” he explained. “Similarly, in villages, to cross-check the truth of the reports from beneficiaries, BPD members are also involved. Schools are in their villages. Prosecutors are in the cities, in the middle of it all. In villages, there is the BPD, so we use that system. More or less like that,” Reda added. If proven true, the prosecutors’ intelligence will report to the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) so that the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) can be sanctioned. “If it’s indeed stale, we’ve said it’s stale.
