Prosecutorial Commission Monitors Investigation into Former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah

The Attorney General’s Commission (Komjak) is directly monitoring the handling of the case involving former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah. Komjak Spokesperson Nurokhman stated that the oversight aims to obtain a direct picture of the examination process for witnesses and the suspect, ensuring the principles of professionalism, accountability, and compliance with applicable legal provisions are upheld. The monitoring activity was led by Komjak Chairman Pujiyono Suwadi and received by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin.

To date, the investigative team has examined several witnesses in the case. The National Police previously named Febrie a suspect in a corruption and money laundering (TPPU) case related to the handling of the PT Asabri matter for the 2020–2024 period. The Police subsequently transferred the investigation process to the Attorney General’s Office, which has appointed nine senior prosecutors to handle the case.
