Promotion: Software Engineering Programme Journal Reputasi at UBSI Achieves SINTA 4 Accreditation
Jakarta — Jurnal Reputasi, managed by the Software Engineering (RPL) Programme at Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI), a Digital Creative Campus, has successfully improved its national accreditation ranking from SINTA 5 to SINTA 4.
The upgrade was established through the results of the Scientific Journal Reaccreditation Period II 2025, with official notification dated Tuesday, 3 February 2025.
The SINTA 4 accreditation status is valid for publications from Volume 5 Number 1 through Volume 9 Number 2 until 2029. This achievement affirms continued recognition of the scientific substance quality, journal governance, and consistent publication of Jurnal Reputasi as a scientific publication medium in the field of software engineering.
The accreditation ranking increase is the result of sustained efforts by the journal management team, including strengthening editorial management, implementing rigorous and transparent peer-review processes, improving the quality of scientific articles, and compliance with scientific publication ethics in accordance with national accreditation standards.
Jenie Sundari, Editor-in-Chief of Jurnal Reputasi, expressed appreciation to all parties involved in achieving this milestone. The SINTA ranking increase from 5 to 4 is the result of collective work by the editorial team, reviewers, authors, and full support from the Software Engineering (RPL) Programme at UBSI.
“This achievement serves as motivation for us to continue improving journal quality and expanding scientific impact at the national level,” she stated in remarks received in Jakarta on Friday, 13 March 2025.
This achievement simultaneously strengthens the role of Jurnal Reputasi as a credible scientific publication venue for lecturers, researchers, and practitioners, whilst contributing to improved academic performance and scientific reputation of UBSI’s Keramat 98 campus, particularly in the field of software engineering and information technology.
“Going forward, Jurnal Reputasi is committed to continuous development, expanding academic collaboration networks, and enhancing the quality and visibility of scientific publications to be able to compete at the national level and provide tangible contributions to the development of science and technology,” she added.
