The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) socialised the National Single Social and Economic Data (DTSEN) with the Bekasi Regency Government in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java. Social Affairs Minister Syaifullah Yusuf, known as Gus Ipul, said the move aims to ensure that social assistance (bansos) is distributed in line with the data.

‘In order to update DTSEN, our programmes and the social assistance distributed will gradually enhance our human resources, particularly in the economic sector. So good data will guide our programmes to be targeted,’ Gus Ipul told reporters at the site on Wednesday, 4 March 2026.

Gus Ipul said President Prabowo Subianto has instructed local governments to coordinate to update the DTSEN data by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).

‘With Presidential Instruction No. 4 of 2025, the President instructed central and local governments to coordinate to assist in updating the data managed by BPS,’ he explained.

Gus Ipul said he was grateful that the Bekasi Regency Government has prepared the update, starting from human resources (HR), village data operators, or auxiliary devices that support the work. He also hopes that increasingly accurate data will make social assistance not only targeted but empowering.

‘Well, I hope that with data that is increasingly accurate and real-time, it can help not only targeted aid but also empower people. I think that is the essence,’ he concluded.

The event, titled ‘Collaboration of the President’s Priority Programmes in Building Human Resources Towards Economic Self-Reliance’, was held at the Swatantara Wibawa Mukti Hall, Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, and was attended by thousands of regional government officials. It was also attended by Acting Bekasi Regent Asep Surya Atmaja and the local Forkopimda.
