Promoting Procurement Digitalisation Ecosystem, ICEF-IPFE 2026 to Connect Businesses with 15,000 Government Buyers
Jakarta, VIVA – The Indonesia Catalogue Expo and Forum (ICEF) will be held in Jakarta from 29 July to 31 August 2026. This fourth edition, held alongside the Indonesia Procurement Forum Expo (IPFE), serves as a strategic platform bringing together the government, business actors, professional associations, and stakeholders to accelerate the transformation of the national goods and services procurement system.
This year’s event carries the theme ‘From Digitalisation Towards Modern Procurement: Data-Based Transformation for Golden Indonesia’. ICEF–IPFE 2026 targets the attendance of 15,000 visitors from various government agencies, including Budget Users (PA), Proxy Budget Users (KPA), Commitment Making Officers (PPK), Procurement Officers (PP), Goods/Services Procurement Units (UKPBJ), and the Association of Indonesian Cities (APEKSI).
The event is a collaboration between the National Public Procurement Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (LKPP RI), the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), and the Indonesian Procurement Experts Association (IAPI), aimed at strengthening synergy between the government and the business world to build a procurement system that is increasingly modern, transparent, efficient, and data-driven.
The Head of LKPP, Sarah Sadiqa, stated that with government procurement expenditure estimated to reach IDR 911.7 trillion based on Inaproc data for the 2026 Fiscal Year, procurement holds significant leverage over the direction of national development. Therefore, every procurement decision must be capable of delivering a real economic impact.
“Every procurement decision is not merely an administrative decision, but also an economic, industrial, and developmental decision. Consequently, procurement must not only be transparent and fast, but also intelligent, predictive, adaptive, and capable of serving as a basis for more accurate public decision-making,” said Sarah during the opening of ICEF–IPFE 2026, as quoted from her statement on Friday, 31 July 2026.
On the same occasion, the Vice Chairman of Export Development at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Juan Permata Adoe, expressed that ICEF-IPFE 2026 represents a vital momentum to strengthen collaboration between the government and the business sector.
“The forum, attended by approximately 135 providers, is considered capable of opening wider market access, increasing the export readiness of business actors, and encouraging more MSMEs and cooperatives to enter the Electronic Catalogue,” said Juan.
