Our success in badminton has been extraordinary. The
achievements, however, are not accompanied by the promotion of
Indonesian products.
The products promoted by our shuttlers are Yonex products and
recently the Opel car. I would like to recommend to exporters of
Indonesian goods that they become sponsors of badminton players.
Some domestic products available in foreign markets and whose
companies have gone public are Kasogi, Beng Beng, Indomie, Fina
chips and Bank Danamon.
The agency for export development, the Indonesia Badminton
Association and the companies concerned should cooperate to
promote Indonesian goods.
