Promise to Resolve Investment Barriers via P2SP Task Force, Purbaya Invites Investors to Enter Indonesia
Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has invited global investors to invest in Indonesia, promising to resolve all business barriers through the Task Force for Accelerating the Strategic Government Programme (P2SP), also known as Debottlenecking.
He made this statement in front of investors attending the ‘International Seminar on Debottlenecking Channel’, held at the Ministry of Finance office in Jakarta.
Through the debottlenecking channel and the P2SP Task Force, Purbaya promises to maintain investor confidence in doing business and investing in Indonesia.
This mechanism will provide a forum for direct input between business actors and policymakers to resolve existing barriers in business or investment processes.
“I listen to the private sector about their problems, and we will solve those issues. Ultimately, we will also improve regulations accordingly,” said Purbaya at the Ministry of Finance, Jakarta, on Tuesday, 12 May 2026.
He believes this approach is better and will yield faster results by addressing real problems in business and investment processes. “Because we will handle real issues faced by business communities in our country,” he stated.
In the future, problem-solving sessions for business barriers will be held weekly to resolve 1-2 cases faced by entrepreneurs doing business in Indonesia. Purbaya believes this method will help improve the business and investment climate in Indonesia over the next year.
It has been proven that since the debottlenecking session mechanism was launched on 16 December 2025, 142 complaints have been received. Of these, 83 complaints have been discussed openly, and 45 complaints have reportedly been successfully resolved.
“I assure that this effective and efficient mechanism is to facilitate investor concerns about permits and smooth processes. It also addresses investor concerns regarding their investment and business processes in Indonesia,” said Purbaya.
“With this, I encourage all investors from around the world to confidently invest in this promising Indonesia,” he added.
