Projo Chairman Visits Jokowi's Home in Solo: For Eid Greetings and Mutual Forgiveness

Former Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) held an open house at his residence in Solo, Central Java. Budi Arie, Chairman of Projo, also visited Jokowi’s home. Budi stated that his visit to Jokowi’s residence was for Eid al-Fitr greetings. He assured that there was no special political agenda. “This is still the atmosphere of the month of Syawal; we are exchanging greetings and seeking forgiveness with Mr Jokowi. There is no special agenda to discuss politics. None,” said Budi Arie. When asked if there was any discussion about Projo, Budi mentioned that since Jokowi is the advisory chairman, it is necessary to inform him about developments regarding the Projo central board. “We informed Mr Jokowi that Projo will continue to hold regional conferences and branch conferences throughout Indonesia. As an organisation supporting Prabowo-Gibran, we will continue to work maximally to ensure the success of the government’s priority programmes.
