I still need some clarification about the system of
progressive tax imposed on those who own more than one vehicle.
What happens if, for example, I sell one of my cars but the buyer
does not registered the change of ownership, then I buy a new
car? Do I have to pay the tax according to the progressive
rating?

If so, it is not fair. Moreover, it will not help the
automotive industry promote its products.

Could the Jakarta Police Office or other authorities clarify
the matter?
