Progress Update on Two New Bridge Projects in Bogor Accelerated, Locations Revealed

The Bogor Regency Government is accelerating the construction of various strategic infrastructures to improve inter-regional connectivity and drive regional economic growth. One of the primary projects currently under focus is the construction of the Situ Nanggerang Bridge on the Bogor–Kemang (Bomang) highway. The existence of this new bridge is expected to smooth traffic flow, increase public accessibility, and strengthen the distribution routes for goods and services within the developing Bogor Regency area.

Currently, the construction project has entered the main construction preparation stage. The Bogor Regency Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) has ensured that various supporting works are being accelerated to meet the completion target by the end of 2026. On-site observations show workers preparing for the installation of piles, which is one of the most critical stages in the bridge’s construction. Once the foundation process is complete, work will proceed to the bridge structure and the completion of approach roads connecting both sides of the highway.

In addition to the focus on the Situ Nanggerang Bridge, the Bogor Regency PUPR Department is also monitoring the progress of the Pasanggrahan Bridge, located near the site. The Pasanggrahan Bridge is smaller in scale compared to Situ Nanggerang, as the focus is on the rehabilitation and structural refinement of the existing structure. The Bogor Regency Government has emphasised that the construction of both bridges is a priority infrastructure project for the 2026 fiscal year.
