JAKARTA - The development of the BRI IT Center area in Ragunan Package 2 has reached 98.92% progress as of May 2026. The project is now entering the final completion stage and system testing before moving into the full operational phase. Acting Executive Vice President (EVP) Secretary of Hutama Karya, Hamdani, stated that all major project materials have been installed since March 2026, and current work is focused on completing the architecture, mechanical electrical plumbing (MEP), and preparations for commissioning the facilities. “We hope the BRI IT Center Ragunan Package 2 project can serve as the foundation for digital infrastructure that will strengthen national banking services,” Hamdani remarked. “With progress nearly complete, we are focusing on ensuring all systems are thoroughly tested to be ready to support BRI’s data centre operations reliably and sustainably,” he added. The project was constructed using Building Information Modeling (BIM) 3D–5D technology and a Lean Construction approach to support more precise and efficient planning and control of work. The facility will function as high-standard offices and a data centre to meet BRI’s information technology infrastructure needs. The presence of this IT Centre is expected to strengthen data processing capacity, improve network stability, and support faster, more reliable, and integrated BRI banking services throughout Indonesia. In the project completion stage, Hutama Karya also implemented quality and safety management systems through Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environment (QHSSE) standards. This implementation includes several international standards such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 27001:2022. Additionally, the project embraces green building and sustainable construction principles through the application of smart systems for more efficient energy management. This includes automatic temperature control and adaptive utility management based on operational needs. Previously, Hutama Karya had completed the main structure stage or topping off of the project in 2025.
