PT Hutama Karya (Persero) states that the progress of the Sekolah Rakyat (SR) project construction in DKI Jakarta has reached more than 40 percent and is targeted for completion on 20 June 2026. The commitment to accelerating the construction was reaffirmed during a visit by Hutama Karya’s directors to the project site on Sunday (3/5/2026), conducted by Director of Operations II Mardiansyah and Director of Risk Management Fatma Dewi Setyowati. The visit was part of management’s oversight of the project implementation, ensuring all work stages proceed according to quality standards, timeliness, as well as occupational safety and health. Acting Executive Vice President (EVP) Secretary of Hutama Karya, Hamdani, said that the directors’ visit demonstrates the company’s seriousness in overseeing the SR DKI Jakarta construction. “We are optimistic that this project can provide real benefits as a decent, quality, and inclusive educational facility for the community, while also serving as part of the company’s support for the national development agenda in the education sector,” he added. The scope of the Sekolah Rakyat DKI Jakarta project encompasses eight main buildings: teacher apartments, school building, SD dormitory and multi-purpose canteen, girls’ SMP/SMA dormitory, utilities building (MEEP), boys’ SMP/SMA dormitory, mosque, as well as landscaping and area works. Currently, the ongoing works include the structure and architecture of the main buildings, wall works and initial finishing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations, area utilities works, as well as external area arrangement and project support access. To support the acceleration of project completion, construction works are carried out using a three-shift scheme continuously. Hutama Karya is also strengthening coordination with all stakeholders to ensure that the work acceleration continues in line with quality standards as well as occupational safety and health.
