Profit Rises 49.6 Per Cent, Bakrie & Brothers Opens Door to Dividend Distribution This Year
JAKARTA – PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) has signalled that it intends to resume dividend distribution in 2026. Chief Executive Officer Anindya Bakrie stated that the company has fiscal space to distribute dividends following completion of a quasi-reorganisation in 2024.
“After conducting the quasi-reorganisation, our retained earnings are positive, giving us fiscal space to distribute dividends,” said Anindya during a meeting in South Jakarta on Friday, 27 February 2026. “Dividends will await the 2026 General Shareholders Meeting for the 2025 financial year. However, what is most interesting is that the market’s appetite is seeking stability and also growth,” he added.
BNBR recorded net profit of Rp 502.74 billion throughout 2025. This figure grew 49.6 per cent compared to 2024’s Rp 336.04 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of Rp 166.69 billion.
BNBR’s net revenue in 2025 reached Rp 3.74 trillion. This figure declined 3.28 per cent compared to 2024. “We are grateful that amid uncertain global economic conditions, the Company was able to record positive performance throughout 2025,” said Finance Director Roy Hendrajanto M. Sakti.
PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) Group contributed Rp 1.08 trillion. PT Bakrie Indo Infrastructure (BIIN) Group contributed Rp 464.21 billion. The steel pipe business unit PT Bakrie Pipe Industries (BPI) recorded revenue of Rp 1.76 trillion. This figure declined 22.8 per cent from Rp 2.29 trillion in 2024.
