Profiles of five newly appointed OJK Board of Commissioners members, Friderica elected as chair
Jakarta – The House of Representatives Commission XI held fit and proper tests on Wednesday for candidates for the OJK Board of Commissioners, examining 10 names submitted by the government’s selection committee.
On the same day, following an internal meeting, Commission XI announced five selected members for the OJK Board of Commissioners.
“Today Commission XI has decided on the results of the fit and proper test for candidates for the OJK Board of Commissioners for the 2026-2031 term to fill 5 positions. Of the 10 candidates who underwent the test, 5 positions have been filled,” said Mukhamad Misbakhun, Chair of Commission XI DPR, at the House of Representatives building in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Commission XI will subsequently submit the names of approved candidates to the House leadership for discussion in a plenary session on Thursday (12 March).
Friderica, commonly known as Kiki, spent considerable time in the capital markets sector before joining the OJK. The woman born on 28 November 1975 previously served as Director of Development at PT Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2009 to 2015.
She held the BEI position until 2015 before transitioning in the same year to become Finance Director at PT Indonesia Central Depository (KSEI) until 2016. Also at KSEI, Friderica later became President Director from 2016 to 2019.
She also held a position at a state-owned enterprise in the financial services sector, serving as President Director of PT BRI Danareksa Securities from 2020 to 2022.
As Chief Executive for Supervision of Financial Services Conduct, Financial Education and Consumer Protection at the OJK, Kiki has served as Coordinator of the Board of Trustees of the Task Force for Eradicating Illegal Financial Activities (SATGAS PASTI) and the Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) since 2023.
