Profile of Trenggono, the New Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency

Major General TNI Trenggono has officially assumed office as the newly appointed Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) by President Prabowo Subianto. His appointment as Deputy Head of the BGN coincides with a change in the agency’s top leadership announced by the government on Tuesday (2/6).

According to gathered information, Trenggono previously served as the Deputy Director of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara. His professional background also includes serving as the Pa Sahli Tk. III in the Social and Communication Division of the Commander of the TNI. Furthermore, he served as the Director of Training and Development (Dirjianbang) at Seskoad from 202_ to 2025, and previously held the position of Director General of the Military Academy from 2023 to 2024.

In addition to Trenggono, President Prabowo has also appointed BPKP Deputy Head Agustina Arumsari as the new Deputy Head of the BGN. Agustina has built her career within the BPKP, where she has held various positions.

The appointment of these two individuals as Deputy Heads of the BGN follows the removal of the two previous Deputy Heads, Lodewyk Pusung and Sonny Sonjaya. Similarly, at the level of the Head of the BGN, Dadan Hindayana has been replaced by Naniek S. Deyang, who previously served as the Deputy Head of the BGN.
