Profile of TNI's Kapuspen Major General Aulia Dwi Nasrullah: The Youngest Two-Star General in the TNI in 2026

Born in Gresik, East Java, on 28 August 1977, Major General Aulia Dwi Nasrullah is a graduate of the Military Academy (Akmil) class of 1998. He hails from the Infantry branch and spent much of his service in the Special Forces Command (Kopassus). In early 2024, his name went viral for breaking the record as the youngest one-star general (Brigadier General) at the age of 46 years and 4 months. His rapid career advancement continued, and by late 2025, he was appointed by TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto as Head of the TNI Information Centre (Kapuspen), replacing Major General TNI (Marine) Freddy Ardianzah. Major General Aulia Dwi Nasrullah’s promotion from Brigadier General to Major General was officialised in a ceremony on Monday, 16 March 2026. At an age not yet 49 when assuming the two-star rank, Aulia exceeds the average age of high-ranking officers in his generation.
